Also take a look at the similar but extra-quilted BabyBjörn Bouncer Bliss variation. There is a toy bar sold separately with cute wooden toys for about $60. You can find this BabyBjörn baby bouncer in several colors - including light pink/gray and dark gray/gray - and three different fabrics: cotton, cotton jersey and mesh. In the Lab, we love how fast it is to set up right out of the box and appreciate the child lock that parents have to push to make it fully fold down. One staffer's 2-year-old sat in it for weekend screen time relaxation. This bouncer is designed for newborns and toddlers (there are three different recline adjustments) and, without the harness, can still be used as a chair once your baby can walk. I also collapsed it and took it in the car to our playgroup so that if I needed to set her down for a few minutes, I had this option.' 'I would put her in it while I prepared lunch or cleaned the kitchen. 'My daughter loved this cozy but sturdy seat,' says GH staffer Stefani Sassos, M.S., R.D.N., C.S.O. The pleasing minimalist design and soft fabrics will look great in almost any home, and the seat is lightweight and easy to fold up for travel. The 'bounce' is powered by you or your baby's own movement, so there are no outlets or batteries needed. Long a staff favorite, the BabyBjörn Bouncer Balance Soft can be used from day one into the toddler years, which we love.

#BUY GRAND DESIGNS REFLECTION RV SERIES# This had somewhat traditional aluminum folding steps that have served we RVers very well for many years. In fact, the things I saw on my friend’s fifth wheel really made me happy. There are a number of things I saw in this model that appear to be upgrades from previous generations of this trailer. That leaves just 531 pounds of capacity for everything, including Peggy and I.Īnd this is before you add the first thing, like a house battery, to the fifth wheel. Our half-ton Ram 1500 has a cargo carrying capacity of roughly 1800 pounds. The manufacturer of this trailer rates the hitch weight at 1,269 pounds. With any trailer purchase, know the capabilities of the tow vehicle including cargo carrying. I wish all RV makers would just quit claiming that their fifth wheels are half ton towable.įurther, know that not all half ton trucks are alike. With anything this large, you really do want as much control as possible and I don’t feel that a half-ton truck offers that. While you might find that the weight of this trailer, including the pin weight, may be within the specifications of a half-ton truck these things have such large surface areas that you could experience control issues in windy conditions. Honestly, the only fifth wheel I’d consider towing with a half-ton pickup is something like the Scamp 19 that we reviewed a while back.Ĭheck out our towing guide to help make a towing decision. Like several RV manufacturers, Grand Design is marketing this unit specifically to owners of half-ton pickups. I got to go see it yesterday and thought I’d share my thoughts with all of you. In some ways this review is different in that friends of mine bought this after we talked about various RVs that they were considering. #BUY GRAND DESIGNS REFLECTION RV SERIES# Today’s RV review is of the Grand Design Reflection 150 Series 260RD.
